Life is unfair, and some films do not have the recognition they deserve. Snowpiercer, for example, probably one of the greatest films of SF of the last 10 years, which doesn’t come almost never in the conversation when discussing the subject.

And yet, the film of Bong Joon-Ho is exceptional in more ways than one. Already by its principle, a train that travels around the world, bearing him the rest of the Humanity, by its framework, a new ice age, and its about a legacy of the years of disputing its director. A film totally in tune with his films, mixing genres, visually stunning and an intelligence rare. Yes, you need to see Snowpiercer and talk about it. Especially at this time.

We knew for over a year that a tv series would be drawn. Well, not really, since it will not adapt itself to the movie but we will propose rather a replay of the Transperceneige, the comic-strip original of Jacques Lob and Jean-Marc Rochette, making an all-new story and new characters. Scott Derrickson, who must, in particular, Doctor Strange, had announced that he would be the executive producer, under the benevolent eye of Bong Joon-Ho, and that he would also be the driver. But since then, more news and we were starting to worry a tad.

Fortunately, the director just gave us a nice little update families via its account Instagram, posting the photo of his chair as a stage director, which means that the filming of the series, Snowpiercer has already started. It will be broadcast by the network TNT on a date unfortunately unknown for the moment but we should quickly learn more. Just as you should gradually discover the scenario, or at least the synopsis, which is kept in the greatest secrecy, until now. Well, after, we know at least that it will be a question of a train, the remnants of humanity, of ice age, but a little more detail would be most welcome.

Question casting, however, is a little party since the series putting in scene Jennifer Connelly and that we can’t wait to return to it in this context if particular. For the rest, it is going to have to take his evil in patience. But, but, but it is also part of the game after all.
