Like every week, it’s time to take stock of the American audiences of your favorite series. So who is at the top, who makes a flop? Discover it now!
The month of March began with a small week on the series since many shows were not broadcast this week. Did that affect the hearings? It is time to discover it thanks to our assessment of the week. Sunday : Episode 11 of Season 7 of The Walking Dead gathered 10.42 million people with a 5% rate on 18-49 year olds. The series again saw a decline in audience. It is the same for Big Little Lies on HBO, which went from 1.13 million to 560,000 viewers (0.2%) for its second episode, but also for Crashing (200,000 and 0.1%) and Girls ( 380,000 and 0.2%). On Showtime, Homeland falls below the million mark with only 900,000 Americans ahead of episode 6 and a rate of 0.3% and Billions also falls (510,000 and 0.2%). These drops are not surprising given the Oscars were broadcast on ABC that night.
Monday : At 20h, Supergirl remains stable with 2.16 million curious and 0.7% while 24: Legacy is down by collecting 3.97 million with 1% on target. At 8:30 pm, Man With Plan is also down with 6.62 million people in front of the episode (1.2%). At 9 pm, ABC broadcast the first episode of its miniseries When We Rise before 3.26 million viewers with a rate of 0.8% over 18-49 years. A shy start but that does better than Quantico usually diffused . Superior Donuts increases slightly on target with 1.2% but loses viewers with 6.4 million on the counter this week. On the CW, Jane The Virgin returns below the million mark with 940,000 curious (0.3%) and APB (3.39 million and 0.8%) remains stable on the FOX. At 21:30, 2 Broke Girls (5.73 million and 1.2%) is also stable on CBS. At 22h, the second episode of When We Rise (2.64 million and 0.6%) attracted even fewer people while Taken collected 7.44 million with a rate of 1.6% on NBC for its first episode. Tuesday : On Tuesday, the program was turned upside down as Donald Trump made a speech that was broadcast on the networks chains – except the CW – from 9pm. At 8 pm, Fresh Off The Boat (4.56 million and 1.2%) is up on ABC, as is The Flash on the CW with 2.79 million viewers and 1.1% on target. Meanwhile, New Girl declines with 2.24 million and 0.9%. At 8:30 pm, The Real O’Neals continues on the Fresh Off The Boat trail with 3.58 million and 1.1% of 18-49 year olds, while The Mick (2.49 million and 0.9% ) stay fixed. On the cable side, The Fosters (660,000 and 0, 3%) and Switched at Birth (510,000 and 0.2%) remain stable. At 9 pm, Chicago PD dominates the time slot with the rest of the crossover by collecting 8.73 million curious and with a rate of 1.9% over 18-49 years, a sharp increase compared to the previous week. Meanwhile , Criminal Minds (6.46 million and 1.2%) and Star (3.37 million and 1.1%) are down on CBS and FOX, while The 100 (1.02 million and 0% , 4%) remains stable. ABC’s When We Rise miniseries brought together 2.30 million people and a rate of 0.7%. At 10pm, Chicago Justice was followed by 8.73 million viewers with a rate of 1.7% over 18-49 years, giving NBC its best audience of the year for that time slot . On the cable side,
Thursday : At 8 pm, Supernatural remains stable on the CW with 1.61 million and 0.6% on target. At 9 pm, When We Rise was followed by only 2.13 million people (0.4%), we are therefore far from the audiences realized by Scandal at the same time usually. Meanwhile , Riverdale rose with 1.08 million and 0.4% and there were 8.77 million curious ahead of Chicago Med, a sharp rise for the series . At 22:00, The Blacklist: Redemption is up with 4.73 million and 1%, and Training Day (4.39 million and 0.8%). Friday : At 8 pm, there were 1.17 million viewers (0, 4%) before the episode 15 of season 8 of The Vampire Diaries , the series remains stable for its penultimate episode, as Grimm (4.21 million and 0.8%) broadcast on NBC.
