The Walking Dead : despite big changes, the series is set to last for a very long time

When you think about it, you don’t see other series that we love so much to hate that The Walking Dead. And somewhere, this is a huge quality. Because that means that it touches us in a place to which few people have access. And it, it is sturdy.

And yes, over the years, The Walking Dead has found a place in our heart so special that we would never have thought at the beginning that it would be hers. But now, it is a little our intimate enemy, our Nemesis, we are the two sides of the same coin and without it, would we feel when even a little empty, although we spend our time and break it.

On the road again

If it is warm already the swords for the beginning of season 9 on October 7, we are well aware that the series is at a pivotal moment in its existence with the arrival of a new showrunner in the person of Angela Kang but especially the departure of two mainstays of the series, Andrew Lincoln and Lauren Cohan.

If many perceive the first signs of an announced death, or at least they hope, it would seem that this is actually quite the opposite, as assigned by the president of the chain AMC, Josh Sapan, the microphone of the Hollywood Reporter, when he is questioned on the future of the series :

This is of course not to say that The Walking Dead will remain on the air during all this time, but there could be other spin-offs in the vein of Fear the Walking Dead to take over. If for the moment nothing has yet been announced in this sense, it would probably need to wait until the end of the next season to find out more. Yes, do things in the right order.
