The Walking Dead: Soon a movie based on the series?

A few hours before the broadcast of a new episode of season 7 of The Walking Dead, Scott Gimple made statements on a film of the franchise.

The Walking Dead season 7 continues and after we asked if Judith was going to die in the following, it is good news that now brings. The showrunner Scott Gimple recently spoke to Comicbook the possibility of a film in the franchise to be able to see the adventures on the big screen, Rick, Daryl and others. And this is obviously not the first time the question is asked. “It comes back from time to time, and I’m sure that one way or another, one day it will happen. And I think it would cool ” . And it is not only because it is clear it is rather curious to see what it could give . Given the success and popularity of the series, the stakes are nonetheless important and it does not act to tarnish the image of the franchise created by Robert Kirkman. Yet Scott Gimple is enthusiastic enough to have even imagined already, jokingly, his ideal cast.
“I can see William Shatner for Rick And we try to have Edward James Olmos Daryl What actors of big movies..” Has he said before adding, “and Matthew Fox to play the Governor!” in other words, it is not shortage of ideas and that success or flop, we already know that the public would be at the rendezvous. After all, despite the alleged defects in the series the Walking Dead always attracts several million viewers before their TV every Sunday night on AMC . Rick, Daryl, Michonne, Maggie … so many names which now represent characters which we are attached and although it might be strange to see other actors embody the cinema, we must admit that we hardly resist call another zombie movie based on a universe we know by heart. Meanwhile whether this idea will ever present itself, we wondered if Chandler Riggs (Carl) would soon leave The Walking Dead . And you, who would you embody our hero in a movie?
