The Walking Dead : the production ready to pay a very (very) expensive for as the series continues
The producers of The Walking Dead are the loans to all, and especially to put your hand in your wallet, so that the series is still continuing. And yet. And again….
The series adapted from the comics by Robert Kirkman and Jay Bonansinga, is approaching to its end earlier than expected ? After Lauren Cohan aka Maggie, who is preparing a possible output, since it will appear in less episodes of season 9 as a result of negotiations and its role in a new series, it was the turn of the pillar of the series to take the sails.
Andrew Lincoln, aka Rick Grimes, was announced on the departure, pure and simple after the season 9, as he embodies the hero Rick since the pilot. An advertisement rather huge one which had as much destabilized the fans that the show runners.
I understand that you want to do something else with your life, it is not serious
Since the beginning of the series the writers have always taken liberties with the manifesto of origin. Killing characters in the middle, making them last a little longer, and then creating all the parts… anyway, the show is on a slippery slope. The hearings in free fall confirm. The producers have therefore decided to put the hand to the wallet to keep the remains of his series.
If you don’t know how Rick Grimes is going to die or disappear in season 9, his replacement will be apparently the very popular and idolized Norman Reedus, the performer of Daryl Dixon. The latter would have offered something like 20 million dollars (or more) to become the hero of the program and take the head of the group.
The Walking Dead : the succession ?
The Hollywood Reporter, who disclosed the information, however, clarifies that negotiations are still in progress and nothing is yet completely official. This would be a very nice increase for the actor who had hit 10 million dollars the last two seasons. For a character who was only an invention of the writers : bravo the artist !
As a reminder, The Walking Dead will be conducted by a new showrunner for the ninth season. Angela Kang takes over from Scott M. Gimple. The season 9 of The Walking Dead will be aired in October on AMC, and in France on OCS.
