The series from the director of Drive and Pusher should be out this year on Amazon.

After Martin Scorsese, David Fincher, Jane Campion, the Wachowski, Steven Soderbergh, Jean-Marc Vallée, and then in a few weeks Danny Boyle (with Trust) and the Coen brothers (with The Ballad of Buster Scruggs), it will be the turn of Nicolas Winding Refn to launch on the small screen.

The director of Drive and Only God Forgives is in the process of turning his first tv series, Too Old to Die Young, in which he gives a few new ones regularly on the social networks. He had thus revealed a first teaser video on Twitter and the cast on his account Instagram. This Friday, the filmmaker Danish has swung a first official image bloody :

As a reminder, Too Old to Die Young will take place in the lowest depths of the criminal life of Los Angeles and will follow the daily life of a police officer grief-stricken following the murder of his teammate. Around him : the hitmen, yakuza, mexican cartels, the Russian mafia and gangs of teenage killers.

The main character will be played by Miles Teller. He will be joined in the casting of Jena Malone (already in The Neon Demon), Nell Tiger Free (Myrcella in season 5 of Game of Thrones), Billy Baldwin, John Hawkes, Callie Hernandez, Cristina Rodlo, Augusto Aguilera, and Babs Olusanmokun.
