AMC has not done mystery, the star of Walking Dead, is living its last hours of being a leader. And Andrew Lincoln argues that this outcome is predicted for a long time.
If the series adapted from the famous comics past several years, the sense of forward view, or even totally improvise plots chaotic and, to say the least inconsistent, according to the main actor of the show, the narration has taken there is a long a way quite aware.
This is what was explained Andrew Lincoln in the column of Entertainment Weekly :
Andrew Lincoln and Lauren Cohan, on the departure
“During the season 4 I had a discussion with producer Scott Gimple about it. You know, we ended up on a lot of things, we became very close and very synchronous. We were both at the head of a series that seemed to grow again and again.
We discussed it, and he said : “You need a plan, we need a plan to refine, if we are going to a season 5, after which, we will may still be two others to do”. He had so many ideas and strategies in mind. And I told him that 8 seemed to me a good figure. 8 seasons, it was really something.
The last season was a plan I had in mind, and that Scott would probably be entitled “the fall of Rick”, to which he thought for a long time and that he would have liked to see told. “
And as early as October 7 (October 8 in France on OCS), we will have time to see if the scenario of the Walking Dead is able to offer Rick an exit at the height of his career in the series.
