It is heavy ! Iggy Pop and the Red Hot Chili Peppers are the guest stars of Terrence Malick’s new film “Song to Song”. Check out the trailer!

This is one of the most anticipated films of the year. Dedicated to the music industry, Song to Song will follow the tumultuous lives of two couples on the Austin, Texas music scene. For this new production, the director Terrence Malick has assembled a four-star cast: on one side Rooney Mara and Ryan Gosling, on the other Natalie Portman and Michael Fassbender. But there’s also a stellar bunch of rock stars including Iggy Pop and Flea (the bassist of the Red Hot), which can be seen in the trailer unveiled this weekend . Look !

According to rumors, Arcade Fire, Patti Smith or even Florence and the Machine should also be part of the rock’n roll cast of the new Terrence Malick . Rooney Mara and Ryan Gosling will play a couple of musician writers, while Michael Fassbender will slip into the shoes of a music magnate and Natalie Portman will fall madly in love. According to the synopsis, all will try to know the glory “in a landscape rock’n roll of seduction and treason” . The film will be previewed on March 10th at the SXSW Film Festival in Austin and will be released in France on June 7th.
