Look at this article
The characters are in the spotlight on the stage of the Place des arts with the very first Just for laughs galas, presented Sunday. However, we will retain more of the complicity of facilitators, Rachid Badouri and Eric Antoine as characters they have been incarnated in the course of the evening.
It is insured
It has been demonstrated that Sunday evening : the next generation of humor is pretty well assured. We would like to ignore the numbers, Vincent C, and Alexandre Douville, two stand-up comedians who have several years of experience, but remain less known than some of their colleagues. The first, we were really impressed with a magic trick as fascinating as it was funny, while the second has bled a few tears of laughter mocking his look for the least singular. Irreverent and fully assumed. We would love to see them more often on the big stages of the festival.
The revelation of Issa Doumbia
The revelation of this gala Fair Characters is without a doubt the French Issa Doumbia. The comedian has made us a whirlwind of laughter with his number where he slips into the skin of a teacher of driving. Warmly ovationné, the comedian, obviously very moved, he confided that he realized a dream by performing on stage in Montreal for the first time. I bet — and hope — that we will soon return.
Complicity is obvious
Despite their complicity is obvious, Rachid Badouri and Eric Antoine, however, did not manage to get the number, served in the mid-term, where they dress up as Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un. This segment is lame and approximate, has been abandoned en route, the animators abandoning their characters and their accents respective to present their next guest. The final, where they slip into the skin of the superhero, was also rather bland, if not disappointing.
With the exception of Issa Doumbia, what are the numbers where the guests were drifting further from the topic of the characters who have been the most effective, on Sunday evening. Sylvain Larocque has been demonstrated with a number of very funny, but that was ruined when he put on a ridiculous wig to transform himself into a character of some kind, and abstract.
Despite some small skirmishes, Rachid Badouri and Eric Anthony flew deftly their gala Just Characters on Sunday. A fun evening, entertaining and well received by festival-goers which have increased the standing ovations.
The gala Fair characters will be presented again on Monday evening at 18: 30 and 21: 30.
