The reptiles of the area of the V-series : the visitors will be entitled to a new life, in the cinema this time.

Who could forget the invasion of the visitors ‘ reptilian, with Jane Badler in the poisonous Diana who faces the resistance fighters led by Marc Singer and Faye Grant ? Originally, there was V : the visitors, a mini-series in two parts, created by Kenneth Johnson and broadcasted for the first time in 1983. Will follow a second mini-series in three parts, and then a series made up of a single season of 19 episodes. A new version will be tried in 2009 to rekindle the flame, with Elizabeth Mitchell and Morena Baccarin, to be forgotten very quickly.

Until 2018 therefore, since V : the visitors will return, but this time at the cinema. Desilu Studios Inc. has announced a proposed trilogy of big-budget , which will see the original creator Kenneth Johnson returning to write and produce.

Kenneth Johnson has shared his enthusiasm :

“We are delighted to partner with Desilu to bring this timeless story – and timely – resistance against the tyranny in the 21st century. V will be the first episode of a trilogy that will tell the epic story of how I’ve always envisioned.”

Behind the announcement with much fanfare, however, there are some doubts. Kenneth Johnson, age 75, has made a film, Steel avenger steel, a horror with Shaquille O’neal, well known to lovers of nanars. Very active in the 60’s with the series Mission : Impossible and Star Trek, Desilu Studios Inc. has been dead for decades, but has apparently not said its last word.

Not to mention that a film project is not new. To 2008, Kenneth Johnson was to conduct a suite of his series at the cinema, with the same actors, in the idea of the novel V : The Second Generation released in 2008 (which resumes the result of the first mini-series and ignores the rest, and takes place on an Earth occupied for 20 years).

Still, the announcement will salivate more than one, which create a nostalgic look on this cult object of the 80s and 90s.
