We know finally the official release date of season 2 of The Punisher, and you share a first teaser burning vengeance.
Cancelled Daredevil, complete Luke Cage, the closet, Iron Fist… these are hard times for the series Marvel signed Netflix. But despite all this bad news, the season 2 of The Punisher had been announced. Then something promised, something due, we find Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) on Netflix on January 18, in 13 episodes.
We learned in the columns of Screenrant that this date was relayed on Twitter by Netflix, Middle West and North Africa, but that the tweet has been deleted since.
For those who have the failing memory, it reminds you of what happened in the first season (beware of spoilers). The story had followed Frank, digging into the mystery of the death of his wife and two children and discovering that Billy Russo, his best friend planted by Ben Barnes, had betrayed him.
If we left the hero hanging on his famous jacket stamped with a death’s head, his adventures don’t stop there. When we know that Frank did not kill Billy Russo at the end of the first season, it is said that the hero seems to be well and truly back in his role of avenger, and that it is most likely that he has many accounts to make.
The teaser reveals very little. You will discover a man, presumably Frank Castle, burning his presidential pardon in a desperate act and promising. If everything goes as planned, it will have to wait until January 18 to discover his new adventures. Enjoy, we do not know if there will be a season 3 but the chances are very unlikely.
