Roman Polanski accused of sexual assault by an actress – Gala

On Tuesday, the swiss police announced that it had opened an investigation based on accusations of the German actress Renate Langer, who claims to have been raped in 1972 by Roman Polanski. She was then 15 years old.
On the 26th of September last, the German actress Renate Langer has been questioned by the swiss police as part of an investigation into the charges of sexual assault of the film director Roman Polanski. Renate Langer is the fourth woman to accuse him of sexual assault the director, now aged 84 and who has always made a point of honor never to respond of the facts which are reproached to justice.
The filmmaker had admitted to having had unlawful sex in 1977 with a minor of 13 years, Samantha Geimer, in the home of Jack Nicholson while he was traveling. The judge had at the time agreed with these confessions not to retain the facts of the indictment are more serious. At that time, he had fled to France (and then to Switzerland) to escape justice. It is never returned to the United States since.
But with time, the word was released. Three other women have spoken up and accused Roman Polanski of rape : the actress Charlotte Lewis when she was 16 years old, a woman identified as “Robin” when she was just 16 years old, in 1973, and now Renate Langer when she was 15 years old, in 1972.
