In 2018, Netflix account well prove that he is still the boss of the small screen, and starts the year on the hats of wheel with Altered Carbon, a series with the big SF in it.

It is, therefore, the 2 next February that will Altered Carbon on Netflix, the adaptation of the novel by Richard Morgan published in 2002. A good big story cyberpunk as we like since it is squarely a question of the digitilisation of the human consciousness in the body of borrowing, which is still pretty darn useful when you do not want to die because now you can move from one shell to another at leisure. And that, in the idea, we like.

Alarm clock difficult for Joel Kinnaman

Except that, of course, the universe ofAltered Carbon, located 300 years in the future, is very far from that of the little house on The prairie and that it was entitled to the usual company’s sprawling and a bit depressed with neon lights everywhere. And it is in this world Takeshi Kovacs (played by Joel Kinnaman) returns to him, after a long time spent in the fridge following a popular uprising which has gone wrong, in a new body, of course, with the mission to prevent the assassination of the powerful Laurens Bancroft. Suffice to say that it is going to have bread on the board.

The first items unveiled to the public auguraient of the best and the trailer that we discover today confirmed, Altered Carbon, it looks pretty darn good. Except that it’s still a lot to Blade Runner in its universe, its art direction and even its staging. It is therefore hoped with all my heart that the series will be freed from his glorious model, and surprise us as much as it amazes us already visually.
