Big Little Lies: Episode 3, Jane’s Past, Our Critic

We hope … Finally Madeline continues to draw itself as a complex and sensitive character despite its bitchy exteriors. From her daughter who prefers to live with her father to her theatrical project that falls into the water, she constantly oscillates between explosion of feelings and self-control and gradually tightens us the threads necessary to bind us to her character. Despite all this , Big Little Lies continues to paint portraits of women who want to be realistic but who still seem too fuzzy and ethereal to really allow us to hang on to it .
