According to information from RTL, Laura Smet et David Hallyday have been received by Brigitte Macron at the Elysee Palace on Thursday 7 December. The First lady and her husband Emmanuel Macron were friends of their father Johnny Hallyday.
They were among the first to know. On December 6, Laeticia Hallyday has called the president of the Republic Emmanuel Macron at two in the morning to announce to him the death of Johnny. RTL has announced that the First lady has effectively invited David Hallyday and Laura Smet at the Elysée palace on Thursday 7 December. The day before, Brigitte Macron had visited at the home of Laeticia and Johnny in Marnes-la-Coquette in order to present his condolences in person. The President of the Republic, “will take briefly the word” during the funeral ceremony held at the church of the Madeleine.
