Bruce Campbell announces that a new film Evil Dead, it is more than possible

You have already said that you love love Ash vs Evil Dead ? Not ? And we don’t say that because season 3 just started and it is amazing (our review of the episode here). No, we’re not that kind of people who are discovering a passion at a time when everyone is talking about around us. We love it for a long time, and most of you were not even born yet.

Because, well, the Evil Dead and its sequels, it still has rocked our childhood, for a good part of the essay. The films that we saw in the hiding-place, where we didn’t know if he should laugh or be afraid and as a result, we did both. Our first words of English (“Groovy !”) and especially the revelation of Bruce Campbell at a time when no one knew him really.

Ah, there in place of cable since ! And here we come in 2018 with the start of the new season ofAsh vs. Evil Dead and it is clear that if the wrinkles and the white hair took control, the passion is still intact. It is recalled that prior to the beginning of the series, the saga had been a remake in the first degree, honestly sympathetic, without being really great. And it was the last time we saw the book of the dead on the big screen. If the series fills us with happiness there is always a little voice deep inside us that tells us we would like to revisit all of that at the cinema.

And well imagine that this is not impossible, as Bruce Campbell comes in to talk to the micro from Entertainment Weekly. But for this to happen, there would be a big condition : the cancellation of the series.

“We don’t know yet if we’ll be renewed or not. We only know that in the middle of the month of march. In the meantime, we are in the horrible limbo of the tv. If we remove them from the screen, we can then think of making another film. And if this is not the case, we’ll just continue our thing.”

And it puts us in a dirty position there. Because on the one hand, we would love to revisit the Evil Dead in the cinema but on the other, the series is so awesome that you don’t want that to stop anytime soon. And then, quite between us, nothing says that the present time will allow a film to the hundredth of delusions gore-vulgos of the show. Therefore, it may be better to wait a bit.
