In a book titled ” Only the children know how to love, Cali speaks on his childhood memories. With emotion and poetry, he indulges on the death of his mother, who disappeared when the boy was only 6 years old.

In an autobiographical short story, entitled ” Only the children know how to love, published by editions Le Cherche Midi, Cali talks about his secret child. The singer recounts his memories of the festivals of end of the year, his first emotions of love or even his first start in camp.

In his memoirs of childhood, the singer also goes on a painful episode of his life. “The death of my mother has changed my life. When she left, I fell out of the nest. We were four children, with a dad devastated, and a big sister of 12 years, Sandra, who has become our heavenly mother. She has organized the life of the house, we robbed him of his childhood, ” one can read in his memoirs. Cali, his real first name is Bruno, lost her very young mother, who was a schoolteacher in the village. To protect, the family of the child has not wanted to attend the funeral of his mother, which took place in Vernet-les-Bains, a small town situated in the Pyrénées-Orientales.
