Chic alors ! New Castle Rock ! It’s not that we despair or anything eh, but a series of J. J. Abrams on the universe of Stephen King, of course, we want to all learn quickly.

Unfortunately, it will still have to be patient a little while since the series Castle Rock is not scheduled to be released before the summer on the network Hulu. And, ever since its announcement last year, we can’t say it was generous in information and revelations. At most, we know that it will be a sort of menu Best-of of the universe of Stephen King, taking place in the famous city of his novels and quite a few of his stories should cross it.

As a lot of winks, of course, even in his casting, moreover, since Sissy Spacek, Carrie original, or Bill Skarsgard, Pennywise from It, should have important roles, even if very different from those for what we know. After months of silence, the series has finally decided to talk about it we swinging a good little teaser of the families, to make us wait until this weekend, when the new trailer will be broadcast during the final of the Superbowl. This teaser of a few seconds is enough to thicken the mystery, the shots looks well dodgy and mysterious images, to make us understand that it will get things quite frankly not cool. And it works rather well.

In any case, J. J. Abrams puts to great lengths to create the event, since he has warned us very recently on the mic with Jimmy Fallon :

“Castle Rock is the town that Stephen King has made famous in his various books. And these two writers, Dustin Thomason and Sam Shaw, came up with this idea incredibly cool, terrifying, strange, and very entertaining, a series of new stories, which take place in this city. And all the characters of Stephen King resident device. When he spoke, it became crazy.”

It is therefore hoped that Castle Rock will be at a minimum at the height of this beautiful promise.
