It is necessary nevertheless to admit that, last year, Castlevania we had played a dirty trick. The adaptation of the franchise, cult Konami series tv was super nice but there were only four small episodes. Not cool.

However, the bet was no less risky as adapting a saga as rich as Castlevania was the impossible. It is necessary, therefore, to commend the presence of mind of the producer Adi Shankar and writer Warren Ellis for having chosen to focus only on the events of Castlevania III : Dracula”s Curse , which narrates the encounter between Trevor Belmont, Sypha Belnades and Alucard (not to mention Grant), the allies against the terrible Prince of the Night in 1476.

But four episodes in, it was much too short and even if they were much appreciated (our view here), we asked for a lot more. It will therefore be necessary to wait until battery hair a year to have real news about this season 2 is very much expected. And it is Adi Shankar himself who comes to bring us the good news, as the producer has revealed on Twitter that new episodes will be available on Netflix as of October 26, next. And this time, not flaws, since the season should be comprised of eight episodes.

And as a news never come alone, he also took the opportunity to offer us a first image of the new episodes, a plan, frankly gothic, where you can see Dracula in the face of a strange object. If, taken out of context, the image does not really make sense, connoisseurs of the franchise may be the smile, recognizing the object, a copy of the save points of the opus Harmony of Dissonance released on the GameBoy Advance it is very, very long time.

Beyond the small wink nice, one hopes that this new season will be at least the height of the first and, in the meantime, we urge you to take a look at the Finger in the Worship that had been dedicated to the saga, because, frankly, the record is nice. And never forget that the man is a miserable pile of secrets.

Goal enough talk… Have at you !
