Céline Dion will not sing for the swearing-in of Donald Trump

The team of the new US president failed to convince the Quebec singer to participate in the show during its swearing in January 20 in Washington.
According to reports the site The Wrap , the rich hotelier Steve Wynn of Las Vegas, a great friend of Trump, had promised he would convince Celine Dion to sing it.
Wynn also tried to convince the country singer Garth Brooks to participate in the inaugural evening. Without success.

Donald Trump’s team seems to have a hard time bringing celebrities together for this show. Elton John and Andrea Bocelli, for example, declined the invitation.
Andrea Bocelli initially agreed to perform, but he retracted after his fans showed their displeasure.

Only the young 16-year-old singer Jackie Evancho would have agreed to take part in the festivities. The interpreter discovered on the show America’s Got Talent will sing the US national anthem for the occasion.

The Trump team would desperately try to bring together some distinguished guests for the show on January 20th.
Mark Burnett, co-producer (with Donald Trump) Series Celebrity Apprenctice and main organizer of the inaugural evening , is still working to recruit celebrities wanting to make act of presence on 20 January.
The event’s communications director, Boris Epshteyn, has suggested that many artists want to participate.
In an email sent to The Wrap , he even argues that “the inauguration as a whole will be an exciting and inclusive celebration of freedom and democracy. We will provide more details at the appropriate time. “
