City of Angels, the spin-off of Penny Dreadful reveals a (small) part of the casting
Stopped since 2016, Penny Dreadful is clearly lacking in the landscape of the series currently. But fortunately, City of Angels a reality.
After a literary genre self-titled popular from the United Kingdom of the 19th century, Penny Dreadful mixed, in a gothic atmosphere of the stories macabre, fantastic, and victorian. With a Josh Hartnett is very charismatic and a Eva Green hypnotic and dark, the end of the series in 2016 was a bit steep.
Eva Green in a role of magnetic
But since we know the next coming of a spin-off of Penny Dreadful with City of Angels, it is once again a joy, even if this new series signed by John Logan will not have much to do with the previous one.
City of Angels will plant the decoration in 1938 in Los Angeles, at a time deeply steeped in folklore on the us-mexico, social tensions and conflict between people related to the cult of Santa Muerte, and others to the devil.
And it’ll be not necessarily well
Like Penny Dreadful, it should be a mix of the supernatural and of social reality that is highly flammable. And as it is only at the beginning of its development, one regularly learns the names of actors added to the cast.
Nathan Lane (Modern family) comes, therefore, to integrate the series. It will crash Lewis Michener, a veteran of the Los Angeles police department and give a reply to Daniel Zovatto (Lady Bird), his teammate and Natalie Dormer (Game of Thrones), a demon who can take on the appearance of the person of his choice and turn to his own way.
No release date has yet been announced. We hope to finish by the end of 2019.
