Daredevil season 3 : the new villain is revealed in a latest trailer to blood and fire

Bullseye is the name of the super-villain that will soon be the devil of Hell’s Kitchen. And there, it is clearly not there to mess around.

Matt Murdock will be damn to do it for this new season. While he is in the midst of an existential, not knowing too much if he has to re-enlist in the costume of the red devil, and held his lawyer, the lawmaker of the neighborhoods of Hell’s Kitchen will have bread on the board. In this case, we already knew thanks to the previous trailer that Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’onofrio) aka Kingpin, was going to make his grand return into the spotlight.

At present, it is an enemy much tougher (and very interesting) that just made its entrance : Benjamin Poindexter, aka Bullseye (known as the Shooter in French). The sniper is the nemesis of Daredevil since its emergence in 1976, and later when he murders the love of Matt Murdock, Elektra Natchios, in the issue 181 of Daredevil – The Man withour fear !

Benjamin Poindexter, camped by Wilson Bethel in the series, will twist and tilt in a wave of hatred, violence, blood, and righteousness of murder. By endorsing the former costume of Daredevil, Bullseye will deceive the inhabitants of the Big Apple in order to sow chaos and discord. A bargain and perfect for Wilson Fisk that will surely result with him in his spiral of revenge and manipulate it in order to bring down the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen.

And clearly, in the view of this new trailer, Matt Murdock, may take to his rank.

Remember that this third season will be, according to its producers, the season of the most dark of the series.

“Matt will sink in it almost up to the place darker than you can imagine. He began the season with a broken physically, the broken emotionally, the broken spiritually. He is angry with God, angry of the fact that he had risked his life to do God’s work, and asked if it was not completely idiot” admitted Erik Oleson, the new showrunner of Daredevil at the microphone of Entertainment Weekly.

All the lights are green for hope to have a good little season. Daredevil season 3 will be available in its entirety on Netflix from the 19th of October next.
