It is summer, many are on vacation and for others, it is also a good time for the night tours. Car, alcohol and drugs will undoubtedly be output and, unfortunately, often together, especially in the 18-24 age group

More than one in three young people (40 %) declared to have already taken the wheel after having consumed drugs or alcohol, according to a survey conducted online of more than 3,000 people by the MAAF. It is as much as those who have never taken the risk (the remaining 20% do not drive).

No thank you sir

A majority, however, would be able to say no : 62 % of young people state that they refuse to have a friend back if they feel it has too much to drink or smoked. It is as much as in the rest of the population, which leads us to think that the message is getting out. But still nearly one in ten (8 %) explained that it is impossible to say no.

Other safe behaviours pass through customs. More than one in two (53 %) does not drink or is limited to a drink in the evening if he must lead by following. And, in half of the cases, the driver is designated prior to the evening. But they are still 15 % reported driving after drinking 3 or more drinks, and 18 % did never designate “Sam”.
