After a start with a bang, we can say that, unfortunately, the series for Marvel on Netflix are a few little catch the feet in the carpet, in particular due to Iron Fist. But fortunately, the Defenders arrive and they should stir it all up.

And they have more interest in fact, because we do hear still talk about since the first season of Daredevil, this project to bring together all the super-heroes in the same mini-series and that each entity has been built with this goal in mind. What we reserve when even a story significant since it will fit in the narrative continuity of each of the series concerned and will also prepare the ground for the continued adventures of the hero. In short, big pressure, therefore, and no right to the error.

If we already know that the big bad of the story will be Sigourney Weaver, she will not be the one to seek lice in the head of the vigilantes, as other characters are quite known in this universe will return to this opportunity, such as Elektra Natchios. Left in a dirty state at the end of season 2 of Daredevil, lying in a sarcophagus magical for the restore, the beautiful assassin will, therefore, adjust its accounts, and if we are to believe his interpreter, Elodie Yung, as it comes from the reveal at the micro-Cinema Blend, Elektra will have changed so much that we can almost speak of a character entirely new :

“It was a great idea. I found that they were really inspired by the comics. Elektra dies and comes back in a new costume and it has changed. It was really cool and interesting to find Elektra as a character completely new. Already because she doesn’t remember anything. And exploring this aspect was very interesting and exciting for me. So this is where it starts for her. And then Alexandra (the character of Sigourney Weaver) puts the pot on it, and the shapes of the manner in which it wishes, if one may say so. And this is only the starting point.”

Yeah, so, we can still expect the big drama between Elektra and Matt Murdock in the Defenders. And it is so much better somewhere. As long as it does not relate to Danny Rand, we, it we will.
