Game of Thrones season 7: What will Euron offer to Cersei?

Cinema 24 July, 2017

Euron Greyjoy promised a gift to Cersei Lannister in season 7 of Game of Thrones, but what could it be?

While we wait for the sequel and we reveal the new releases of the credits of season 7 of Game of Thrones to wait more easily, we remain on this momentum and we continue to question the next episodes. The season premiere showed us the meeting between Cersei Lannister and Euron Greyjoy, come to propose an alliance to him. Obviously the queen of Westeros is a little more demanding than he had expected and even a gift might not be enough to convince her. Indeed the synopsis of episode 3 already announces that Cersei will make the gift in question, but that does not prevent us to ask what it could be.
Tyrion Lannister

The brother of Cersei is accustomed to be considered “gift” since Jorah had already “offered” it to Daenerys Targaryen. Moreover, Cersei’s desire for revenge against Tyrion after Joffrey’s death quickly spread throughout the kingdom and Euron certainly understood that he would score points by giving him the “traitor”. But Tyrion is at the moment with Daenerys and Euron should rub shoulders with his army if he wants to capture it, so we imagine it will be something else.
Ellaria Sand and the Sand Snakes

The enemies of Cersei are numerous and after the death of Myrcella, Ellaria Sand is added to the list. It must be said that she herself had made a gift to Cersei by sending the necklace of Myrcella into the hooks of a snake. If Euron delivered Ellaria and her daughters to Cersei – which would fit with some of the shootings a few months ago – she could avenge the death of Myrcella. Moreover, even if the Martell also have an alliance with Daenerys, they do not benefit from close protection like Tyrion. Finally, since the synopsis of episode 3 speaks of a gift returned, perhaps it could be the necklace of Myrcella that Cersei would return to Ellaria to signify his next death.
Dragonbinder

Not yet mentioned in the series, in the books there is the horn Dragonbinder / Tale-dragon, that Euron Greyjoy owns and that allows to control the dragons. The problem with this instrument is that blowing in it kills the person who uses it as the inscriptions it says “No mortal who will sound will survive it.” But the conditions of use could be slightly modified in the series, and this gift would be of the greatest use to Cersei in his fight against Daenerys. Moreover the fact that it has not yet been mentioned in the series could make an interesting twist if Euron had it and offered it to Cersei.
Arya or Sansa Stark

It’s been a long time since Cersei Lannister is after the Stark and Euron sisters would probably give him a proud service by capturing them. The presence of Sansa in Winterfell makes things very difficult for Euron. But the same can not be said for Arya – who could become the Lady Stoneheart of the series – who makes his way to King’s Landing to strike a new name from his list. Few people know that Arya Stark is still alive though, which gives her some security. But since it’s Game of Thrones we’re talking about, we know we’re never immune to anything.
