Gray’s Anatomy season 13: Episode 16, Jackson and April back together? Our criticism

Episode 16 of season 13 of Gray’s Anatomy was broadcast last night on the American channel ABC. Then discover our review of “Who Is He (And What Is He to You)?”.
It’s in Montana, away from the current drama and the war at the Gray Sloan Memorial, that we find Jackson and April this week in an episode that does good and also reminds us why we love Gray’s Anatomy . “Who Is He (And What Is He To You)?” Allows us to break and concentrate intrigues on other subjects. Jackson goes to Montana – normally accompanied by Meredith – to make a vocal chord transplant on a little girl who has a tumor. It was finally April who came with him, not without a few tricks from Catherine, and we know that the journey is likely to be tumultuous since the two characters are not on good terms. Very quickly, We discover that the reasons for this professional trip to a different meaning for Jackson: meet his father . If Jackson has annoyed us in recent episodes, Episode 16 of Gray’s Anatomy’s Season 13 reconciles us with the character as much by the correctness of the treatment of the plot as by the compassion that one can feel towards him .
As you can imagine, the reunion with his father does not really happen as Jackson had expected. Already, his father does not recognize him at all, which only accentuates the gap that exists between them. When Jackson finally comes to his father, the reaction of the latter is at least surprising and his behavior will quickly push Jackson to turn around. In the end, his meeting with his father is a way for him to detach himself from him and the shadow he could have on his life: Jackson is not his father and April reminds him clearly. Moreover, this little getaway in Montana allows the former couple to get closer – as expected a little – and they even end up sleeping together, For our pleasure and that of the fans of the couple Japril! Difficult to know however whether it is the magic of the open air or whether the two characters will recover together, but this proves once again that there is still hope for their couple.
Finally, the medical case of the week is a little more withdrawn this week and it is not to displease us. This season, the development of the characters has tended to be relegated to the background and we are not particularly fans of this change. The medical case does not remain at least touching, and it complements the rest of the intrigues in a beautiful way. If this special episode Japril is predictable enough in the end, it is none the less captivating and full of emotions. These forty-two minutes of vacation away from the Gray Sloan Memorial are really welcome and it is hoped that the events of this episode will push Jackson to review his views regarding Eliza Minnick .
