Hannibal was a very nice series. Not necessarily a very good series, but it had aesthetic qualities that are undeniable and a cast of high-level. In any case, it was good enough for you to regret it, if it was cancelled.

And this is what happened in June 2015 unfortunately, after three seasons, the series, Bryan Fuller is gone, leaving fans grieving, even if the actors Mads Mikkelsen and Hugh Dancy still wished to believe in it, and spoke of a possible return in a few years.

Except that now, a few years, we are, and we continue to see nothing come up regarding a possible future for Hannibal. Still, nothing is less secure because, if we are to believe Mads Mikkelsen microphone to Bloody Disgusting, the great return is possible :

“Yes, I think that there is always a hope. Yet I have not heard anything significant that would be in this sense. I know that Bryan Fuller is still working on some tracks for us to find a new house to welcome us. I also feel that anyone who has participated in the series would be ready to go for a ride.”

Of course, we would like to know more, but Mikkelsen is not aware of much of anything. And even less in regard to a possible successor to the NBC to resume the series.

“I don’t know where they went, look, this is well beyond my pay slips, but I know they have talked to various studios. I also know that Fuller was attempting to retrieve the rights to the Silence of the lambs at the time so that he could use the characters in the series. And I have the strong impression that it is towards it that we’re going.”

That remains to do is a small miracle to happen and that the series finds new parents for that finally we can see the result. Netflix perhaps ? Or Hulu ? Or Amazon ? Go guys, make an effort what.
