Ivanka Trump’s cliche in the oval office makes scandal

Surrounded by her father and Justin Trudeau, the daughter of the President of the United States sits in the office of supreme power. A photo that caused the ire of many Americans.

On February 13, when Donald Trump received Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at the White House, Ivanka Trump posted a photo of her with the two politicians in a place that was apparently too sacred Putting it in place. Wanting to advocate for “  the importance of having a place for women in the discussion table ” , the young woman of 35 , sitting in the chair in the Oval Office, has drawn the ire of many Internet users in the US. 

For despite this feminist-like message, many Americans did not like to see the businesswoman sitting in the place of the President of the United States of America; Many denouncing a mixture of genres or even the illegitimacy of the young designer clothing to take this place. ” You did not do anything to deserve a place behind this office except to be born of a rich father with a long necktie. ” ” A non-elected woman should not have a place at this very special table “, ” It was inappropriate and unethical that you attend these meetings ” , it was notably read on Twitter.  

This is not the first scandal to touch the oval office and chair of the President of the United States. In 2009, a picture of Barack Obama’s feet on the desk had moved some of the Americans, accusing him of disrespect to the presidential function. The American site Snopes had ended the case by revealing photos of George W. Bush and Gerald Ford, two former US presidents, in the same position.
