After a long fight against illness, Johnny Hallyday has died at the age of 74 years. While the details of the tribute that will be made are still in the process of being decided, one thing is for sure, the rocker will be based at St Bartholomew’s where he had a villa with his wife Laeticia.

Saint-Barth, the French west Indies. The place for holiday memories, and happy times. It is here that the family of Johnny Hallyday has decided that it would be buried the body of the idol of young people. A place dear to the heart of the couple Hallyday where they are going as soon as they had the chance with their two girls, Joy and Jade. Sometimes, it is even all the “clan” Hallyday, who were meeting there, as in the summer of 2016 where they had been joined by David Hallyday, Estelle Lefébure, and their two daughters, Ilona and Emma. Meetings of the families in which they had shared many pictures on social networks.

It is without doubt in the remembrance of those happy moments that the family of the rocker has chosen to bury his body on this island of the Antilles, which is expensive. The couple had been particularly marked by the hurricane Irma, which has severely affected the island last September. They had even proposed to open the doors of their home to accommodate the inhabitants of the most violently affected. The villa had itself suffered considerable damage and significant work had to be done.
