Justice League: An actor of the film never crossed the rest of the cast!

Cinema 13 July, 2017

One of the actors of Justice League never had the opportunity to meet the rest of the cast. But which one? A clue: he did a lot of motion capture!

After confronting us with a monster created from alien technologies (you know, Doomsday?), Here is the DCEU proposes to us to discover another wicked even more dreadful. The editorial of melty obviously speaks of Steppenwolf, which will have a look visibly quite impressive in Justice League, the uncle of the terrible Darkseid. It is Ciaran Hinds (Mance Rayder in Game of Thrones) who lends him his features – or rather lends him his body since the super villain was built entirely by motion capture and CGI. The result of the races, the actor had to show a lot of imagination to play his part, especially that he never crossed … the rest of the cast! During a passage on the BBC show Michael Ball Show, Ciaran Hinds indeed entrusted himself a little bit about his work on Justice League. And here’s what he had to say: “I did not even have a costume when I played my role, everything is done in motion capture … They basically build my character’s face and apparently use My facial expressions, with my eyes, my mouth, my voice, to create a Steppenwolf from Akopolips very murderous, and who is determined to provoke hell on Earth.

So a whole program, both for the actor and for the super villain! Unfortunately for him, Ciaran Hinds does not know how the superheroes will react to his character since he never had the opportunity to meet Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot and all the rest of the cast. Asked about this and his lack of interaction with other Justice League members, he said: “I do not know if they’re going to be afraid to meet me. “It was a very different kind of challenge, yes, but it was also very fun!” So, it might be a bit of a surprise for everyone when the movie goes to the cinema! Perhaps we will have the opportunity to discover Steppenwolf in the next trailer of Justice League, in which Superman too could point the tip of his nose!
