Zombies never sleep and Netflix either, evidenced by the series of Korean and period of living dead Kingdom, coming at the end of January on our screens.
If there’s one thing that Netflix has been able to do is diversify. Thanks to its many original productions (The Haunting of Hill House, the Dark, The Rain…), the giant of the streaming addresses not only the topics are very different (horror and ghost, time travel, apocalyptic drama…) but also the conquest of the world.
Besides, the next series scheduled for the end of January 2019 provides a deep dive into the ancient kingdom of Korea then that a mysterious plague of zombies invaded the country after the announcement of the death of the king.
Kingdom is carried out by Kim Seong-hun, the man behind A Hard day and Tunnel, and you can find the face of the actress Doona Bae, known for her role as Sun Bak in Sense8. If it is not yet clear what role it will take, we can already say that it will give reply to Ju Ji-hoon, in that of the crown prince, and Ryu Seung-ryong.
Kingdom isn’t even on Netflix it has already been renewed for a second season. The decision may seem daring at first glance, but it is easier to understand the “craze” thanks to the new trailer, which teases our curiosity with its actions, its zombies and its backgrounds from the time period.
The Verdict on 25 January to get a true idea.
