Attention to the eyes, the new series of the Korean Netflix us because of the undead… And its trailer advertises a show deadly.

If there’s one genre that seems to have been completely wrung out in recent years, it is the zombie apocalypse. Suffice to say that with each new attempt to narrate the conflict of the living, and of body back to life to devour, there is evidence of mistrust. But for once, our curiosity is pretty piqued.

Stung by the series Kingdom, which we will thanks to Netflix. It is produced by Kim Seong-hun, which is already enough to put us foaming at the lips, the gentleman who staged the excellent A Hard day and Tunnel.

On the occasion of the Kingdom, he will leave Korea contemporary to look at a story just a few centuries earlier, while a king freshly deceased comes back to life and spread an infection type zombie-hip-hop-boulotteurs.

As shown in the trailer, this promises to be a visually sumptuous and extremely overpowered, and frankly exotic and very far from the commonplaces of the aesthetic of the genre. We can suppose that the origin of the epidemic will allow the director to question once again the power structures of Korean.

The appointment mordant is taken for the January 25, 2019 !

A kingdom in bad shape…
