Netflix and series Marvel, it quickly became a love story-hatred without too much that one knows why. Finally, if one has an idea, but it is not very glorious.

Yet, it was party thunder with Daredevil. A little less with Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and the Iron Fist, but yet we still wanted to believe it. Because we were dangled from the beginning The Defenders, the meeting of all these heroes, and that if it was as good as Daredevil, it was going to be fantastic. Except not at all, in fact.

After a series of The Punisher which was considerable, and before the return of the heroes in their new respective seasons, we wondered when we were going to talk to us about a hypothetical season 2 for the Defenders. It felt good that they were not too motivated, even less with the concerns between Disney, which opens its own streaming platform this year, and Netflix, which was a little bad in the shot, but as nobody talked about it, we said that it could still happen.

And it is, therefore, the actress Krysten Ritter, who has finally burst the abscess by announcing at the microphone of the Vulture that no plan was set for a new meeting of all these characters :

“I really took a good time on The Defenders, and it was a wonderful experience that I would very much like to replace the cover. But I don’t think we’re going to do it. There has never been any intention to make the sequel. But you know, if you gave me this opportunity, I would accept. If my heart belongs to Jessica Jones, I still liked The Defenders with the other. It was really nice.”

And frankly, it’s probably better that way.
