Alcohol, marijuana, and ecstasy are part of the most commonly used drug among young people. Although there has been extensive research on the fact that they have a tendency to lead to risky sexual behaviour, few studies have looked at the sexual effects that are specific to these different substances.
A recent study showed that compared to marijuana, alcohol and ecstasy were more strongly associated with an exacerbation of sexual sensations which are felt, including the attraction, sexual desire, and trust in the company.
The results of this study with respect to alcohol are consistent with previous research on the social effects of alcohol consumption, which triggers feelings of increased acceptance of self and social anxiety.

Paradoxical effects

Compared to alcohol and marijuana, ecstasy – also known as the ”drug of love” – is associated with a sexual intensity increased, a longer duration of the report and an intensity more marked the orgasm, according to a comparative study published in the Journal of psychology and sexuality.
Paradoxically, while alcohol and ecstasy can increase the sexual desire, these substances hinder the sexual performance of men. The alcohol can numb the body, which can delay or prevent orgasm : impotence is common, despite the increasing sensitivity of the body to the drug.
Beyond the sensations and the physical performance, the question of the lucidity comes into play.

The regrets post-sex remain the most common after alcohol consumption (31%) compared with ecstasy (13%), and marijuana (7%). In short, your well-being, even sexual, please do not hesitate to leave aside this kind of stuff.
