“La Sexion d’Assaut will be working on a new project from March 2017,” Dawala told our colleagues at Vrai Rap Français last October when he was promoting his film La Pièce. Except that in the meantime, Dawala got muddled with Maitre Gims (on whom Joey Starr and Kool Shen of NTM have just given their opinion) : considering not to touch a fairly large percentage of what he was winning his label , The rapper decided to leave Wati-B to join the label Play Two (TF1). But while the rapper has already settled his accounts with Dawala in the track “Marabout” .
When we heard about the beginning of the confusion between Dawala and Gims, in the editorial office, we said that it was not much, that they would certainly be reconciled around a glass of Wati-bubble , And that the future of the Sexion d’Assaut was therefore not threatened. Except that when Gims announced that he was joining a new label, we thought that it looked finally quite warm. And then when he pulled out “Marabout” , considering what he scales on Dawala, there, we thought that it was impossible that they reconciled.
