Netflix and Frank Miller are preparing a series on King Arthur (and the Lady of the Lake)

While the end of Game of Thrones approach, everyone wants to recover his share of the cake chivalrous, including Netflix.

In fact, Deadline has just revealed that one of the notable upcoming projects of the company was none other than an adaptation of the arthurian legend. And found behind this project two artists, i.e. Frank Miller, and Tom Wheeler. The first is one of the most famous american cartoonists, discovered by the general public on the occasion of Sin City, whose influence on the representation of superheroes is still palpable.

Tom Wheeler is a screenwriter, one owes him in particular The puss in boots , and LEGO Ninjago. Both are allies to produce a series of books, which are expected to be on the introductory american to 2019. Therefore, they should also supervise the adaptation in the series, for the account of Netflix.

Titled Cursed, this creation will tackle the Arthurian legend through a relatively unexpected, as we will be alongside Nimue, called to become the Lady of the Lake, as she joins forces with a young mercenary, Arthur, to find the mysterious Merlin and get him an invaluable aid in their fight against King Uther.

We do not know much more, but it is damn impatient.
