Gregg Araki tries to the series Now Apocalypse.

Anyone who has ever seen a film by Gregg Araki will not be surprised by the program Now Revelation, his first series. A band of young adults fringués as in a series of years 90, also interested in sex, that introspection, which sweep across parties and clubs hallucinating, floating in the margins of the company’s target in clouds of weed, and may possibly bump into reptile aliens while the end of the world approach : from Nowhere to Kaboom, passing by Smiley Face, everything was already there.

The curiosity remains powerful, however, in the face of the trailer of a series that the filmmaker has created, in addition to realize.

Now Apocalypse will revolve around the adventures of Ulysses, Carly, Ford, and Severine, who are all trying to love, orgasm, and/or fame in Los Angeles. And as Ulysses has the premonition of the end of the world, life is not simple.

In other hands, this would hardly be intriguing. But with the director of The Doom Generation, Mysterious Skin and White Bird, it is the promise of a spleen post-teen grandiose, full of strangeness, poetry, and candor.

After you have signed a lot of episodes, like 13 Reasons Why or American Crime, Gregg Araki mark his big return. Avan Jogia, Kelli Berglund, Beau Mirchoff and Roxane Mesquida (already in Kaboom) are in the credits, and Now Apocalypse will arrive on march 10 on Starz.
