In episode 4 of Season 6 of Scandal, Cyrus has glimpsed a hope! Fitz’s former right-hand man is innocent, he did not kill Vargas. But then who is the real culprit? Olivia said in her investigation? During a flashback before the first debate of Cyrus and Jake, the latter is all smile and seems willing to listen Liv by calling him “Patron” . The young woman does not like this attitude. She asks her to stop passing her off as the bad guy of history. But Captain Ballard replies that it is entirely her fault if she feels guilty, it is the price to pay to join Team Pope and win the White House. Liv confesses that she must win to repent after Defiance and score a point. Olivia’s father then told her that it was time to take back what was due to her. Later, Vanessa admits that she had purposely returned to the tree, it was not an accident. Jake looks touched and console. But finally he gives up talking to him about Eli or the Navy and it seems he even thinks of killing her in Season 6 of Scandal. Liv is in shock and asks his team to spy on all the facts and gesture of Jake in season 6 of Scandal . The team found a motel where Jake went 11 times. To search it, they need to do it during the interview with Jake and Vanessa. Mellie enters the game and convinces Jake’s wife to agree to meet Sally. If Vanessa is at the top, the motel is desperately empty. Jake knew that Olivia was going to search him and clean everything. He then hands him a paper that proves that he paid Tom Larsen to trap Cyrus through an account in his name in Switzerland. Olivia accuses her father but is it really him? No, it’s a mysterious woman who assures Eli that it is an insurance policy because Olivia is replaceable! Jake takes Olivia to a secluded corner and confesses that he has a confession to make. He tells her he had to kill Jennifer for Eli … except he did not murder her! It was she who was at the motel and now hidden in the middle of nowhere! So we’ll know from next week who killed Vargas. This is an episode that kept us breathing. If it was less poignant than the previous one, it was just as interesting. We appreciated the heavy and mysterious atmosphere that reigned there.
