Sense8 was nice to have been cancelled by Netflix, the Wachowski are still working on the screenplay for a hypothetical season 3. A info that has not fallen in deaf ears.

When Lana and Lilly have made it known there was little that they were still working at writing the next adventures of their heroes, the passionate fans of the series have felt a little pinch in the heart. In spite of a base of passionate spectators, Sense8 is expected to disappear after the broadcast of the last episode to air full-length film.

Extremely expensive (you mention a budget of over ten million dollars per episode), the series is going to join the limbo. Or not.
