Spider-Man Homecoming: An important change for a character in comics
Another comic character, in addition to the Vulture, has undergone changes in Spider-Man: Homecoming. This does not mean that it will always be detestable!
When one adapts a comic to the cinema, necessarily, one must impose some changes, be it from the point of view of history … that of the personages! And the next solo adventures of Spidey will not depart from the rule. For example, we already know thanks to Michael Keaton as the Vulture in Spider-Man: Homecoming will be quite different from what is expected. But it will obviously not be the only one, even though it is at present rather difficult to determine which of all the characters will differ the most from its paper version. However, there is a (very) secondary protagonist of the film whose changes are already quite drastic. The editorial ‘of melty wants to talk here of the character played by the skinny Tony Revolori ( The Grand Budapest Hotel ) and that is none other than Flash Thompson. So for those who do not know this nice young man, you must know that Flash in the old comics and the first movie was a little thorn in Peter Parker in high school, one who spent his time in the martyr .
And in the paper version, Flash is rather a well-barred type who uses his physical strength to show green and ripe steps to our hero. A charming guy, they tell you. Except that here, Tony Revolori not too the middle of a quarterback , which obviously led to some changes in the treatment of his character. Tom Holland has explained about Flash ” . The American high schools are so different from British schools Bullying did not really exist so when they casted Flash, they knew they did not need a guy 1m90 for torturing Peter. They needed enough rich kid who picks her balance on the state of his shoes . “. In short, you will understand, Flash Thompson may not swing donuts but it will not deprive him of making life a hell of Peter by insulting and harassing him verbally . And as we know, words sometimes do worse than blows! But hey, we want to believe that our Peter is kind of optimistic and that he will not allow himself to be made by Flash – especially that he still has an advantage over him: he has a superhero double life! And when you see the improvements that will be made to his suit in Spider-Man: Homecoming , we say that Spidey was still enough to feel a (little) bit higher! What do you think of this change?
