And yes, Tony Stark and Cap ‘have come very close to sharing the Spider-Man poster: Homecoming with two other Avengers! But which ones?

Side references and easter eggs, Spider-Man: Homecoming was pretty well provided! Whether it was the presence of Tony Stark, the very funny or even somewhat ridiculous Cameo of Cap ‘, or the numerous references to the events that took place in previous films, the MCU was particularly well represented. It is probably the first time that it gives us so much the impression of being as organic, as real. But did you know, the meltynauts, that he was very likely to show up in an extra form? We know today that Spider-Man: Homecoming could have appealed to two other Avengers. And that, we learned it thanks to new concept arts that have recently surfaced on the net. But by the way, who could have been these two Avengers?

As you can see, it’s first on Twitter that the two images have made their way, where they have been unveiled by MCU News & Tweets, which in turn has drawn them from the art book “Spider-Man : Homecoming – The Art of the Movie “. On top, we see two of the superheroes who have chosen to join Tony Stark’s camp in Captain America: Civil War (obviously). And so it’s Vision and War Machine! According to what we can see on the concept art, the two Avengers should have intervened in Spider-Man: Homecoming during the scene of the ferry, in order to lend a hand to Spidey and Tony Stark, Also to the help of the Weaver. Should we regret that they were not finally included in the final version? Not really in fact, Tony already amply enough to make the link between Spider-Man: Homecoming and the MCU, especially thanks to the final scene of the film. In addition, it would have been necessary to explain why and how Rhodes had sufficiently recovered the use of its legs to put again the armor of War Machine. In the end then, even if we love them a lot, both superheroes have done well to stay out of this!
