Spider-Man Homecoming: What is the timeline of the movie?

Cinema 22 May, 2017

Landing more than a year after the release of Civil War, Spider-Man: Homecoming of course has its own timeline. But where does it lie in the chronology of the MCU?
One of the questions that one does not often ask about Marvel movies concerns … their respective timeline. Well, in fact, if one does not care too much about the subject, it is because the answer is quite obvious. Generally, they take place during the year they come out in our dark rooms. For example, the events of the first Avengers take place in 2012 because the film itself of Joss Whedon landed at the cinema that year. That is the general rule. Except that … except that this is not always the case! As Kevin Feige taught us when he talked about the Avengers timeline: Infinity War , The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 , it finally takes place only a few months after the plot of the first film, Released in 2014. So what should not take for granted what one believes! Then, we come to wonder when, exactly, takes place Spider-Man: Homecoming and how it is with respect to the time line of the MCU . And to have more details about it, it is to Eric Carroll, the producer of the film, that we must turn!
There will not be a long time between Civil War and Homecoming
In an exclusive interview with the Screen Rant site, Eric Carroll gives us some details, starting by affirming that, no, Spider-Man: Homecoming does not take place in 2017. Finally, not really. He explains about the timeline of the film: ” It will be a little shifted. The timeline will be a little shifted in the sense that the film is released almost two years after Captain America: Civil War but it actually takes place only A few months after Civil War. It’s not been two years since Tony went to get him. ” And there is obviously a good reason. The idea is to make sure Peter stays … a high school student for as long as possible! ” If we say that the film takes place two years after Civil War, Then that means he’s at the end of college and that, in the next film, he will be in his first year at university. But we really want to make several films in which he is still in high school . “You will have understood, meltynauts, everything has to do with the age of Peter. That also means to match the chronology of the MCU with that of the next solo film (s) ) Spidey will certainly be a real headache Meanwhile, the relative short period of time between the Civil War. Spider-Man: Homecoming should make changes to expect at Tony Stark even more credible! What pensez- What are you waiting for?
