At the risk of repetition, 2017 was the year of Stephen King and everything suggests that 2018 should not leave him alone either. Unfortunately, his most ambitious project is also the one which has the least new.

There are many months, J. J. Abrams and Stephen King announced the start of construction of Castle Rock, mysterious series that would take place in the imaginary town created by the author and that compiles a large amount of his novels in the same universe. A proposal unexpected and ultra mouth-watering that had already given rise to a small teaser, a expanded universe all to itself, which should normally arrive on the platform Hulu, “somewhere in 2018”, as they say.

Except as the weeks go by and no one saw anything coming. No new pictures, no rumors, no release date to be announced, nothing. Was such that the magazine Entertainment Weekly, had an interview with Stephen King and ask him where she was, this famous series. And then, surprise, the King is unable to answer :

“I am as much in the dark as anyone else. I know absolutely nothing about this series so I just hope that everything goes well. It should be fine. This is J. J. Abrams typical. I haven’t seen anything on this series in the press or anywhere else.”

Words that can be taken in two ways. Either, Abrams works in the greatest secrecy, and wants to make a surprise to the spectators, and Stephen King, the series is having problems of production and nobody wants to tell us. And we really hope it is the first option.
