Hollywood, it’s a bit like an oven self-cleaning. When a problem arises and it is growing, it is generally set to internal. Except that this time, the song is a little too big for him and, of course, it overflows.
If to move forward in life, you will need to know a few disappointments and disillusionments, we can say that since October last year and the case Harvey Weinstein, Hollywood makes us follow a rapid course. No one can account more, in fact, the records incriminating that flourish in the press and undermining of the influential personalities in the middle. Rightly or wrongly elsewhere.
A door has been opened
While Hollywood begins to take various measures to ensure that such overflows will no longer occur ever, it is now the turn of the Stranger Things to retrouvere at the center of a little controversy. A few days ago, a technician of the series, Peyton Brown, said on Instagram that she would not return to work on the set of Stranger Things for season 3 because it was an environment particularly hostile to women. She claimed to have witnessed “harassment and verbal abuse against women, the share of two men in a high position of power.” Without naming them, of course.
Very sensitive to these issues, Netflix has some interest in the case, has conducted a small investigation and found nothing wrong of any kind as he explained in a press release :
“We looked on this complaint as soon as we heard about last Tuesday, and we have found nothing. Keep the atmosphere safe and respectful on a plateau is very important for us and we know that it is a priority of the brothers Duffer.”

Following this, Peyton Brown withdrew his comment of the social networks to repost later reformulated, but the original message had been backed up by the site AND Canada, which pushed Matt and Ross Duffer to share their indignation about the false accusation in another press release :
“We are deeply angry to learn that someone felt themselves to be in an uncomfortable position on our board. We believe that it is important not to compromise our project, in which we will treat everyone on the same equal footing, regardless of colour, gender, religion, or anything else. We remain very involved in our effort to provide a safe environment and a collaborative space for each of us in our productions.”
The case has a bottom of truth, or that it is only an attempt of the wrong person, what is sure is that Peyton Brown should point to the unemployment when the season 3 will begin its filming.
