While the series Titans is fast approaching, and is a bit scary given his first visual, Swamp Thing promises to be at a higher level.

Since the time that the series exists on paper, it is only very recently, a little less than a year, that Swamp Thing has begun to grow and stabilize. We learned who was going to make the pilot episode. And this is none other than Len Wiseman (Underworld) who will be behind the camera before moving the co-producer of the series alongside Gary Dauberman, among others.

Beside casting, we also learned that Crystal Reed (Ghostland) propose the role of Abby Arcane, and Maria Sten will perform Liz Temayne. Anyway, all is almost well in the best of all worlds.

In Ghostland, she had already a love for horror

If, for now, we still don’t know who will play Alec Holland (the true identity of Swamp Thing), the members of the production process already in the development of the costume of the swamp Creature. Gary Dauberman has also secured the use of a “costume physical”, a good thing in this world full of CGI sometimes very crude and poorly used.

Despite the addition of a few digital effects in post-production (which seems logical and inevitable), Gary Dauberman has promised that Swamp Thing “is going to look incredibly terrifying” and that it “will have less the impression to see a guy in a suit” compared to the previous films on the character of the protagonist.

Other good news, the series will be violent, barbaric, dark, and adult. In short, everything we love. In an interview with ComicBookMovie, Gary Dauberman spoke on the topic :

Approved by The Creature of the marsh

“We’ve always wanted to make Swamp Thing as violent, frightening and graphic as possible, with themes for adults. Concerning the inspiration of the series, we really drew from the breast of the work of Alan Moore. The fans of this saga will recognize without a doubt how the comics are becoming both bizarre, extreme and scary. We want the same thing for our series. “

So there are clearly things to be totally optimistic (on paper) about this series. It should be noted that if the exact date of broadcast is yet known, the Swamp Thing is expected to arrive on the platform streaming of DC and exclusive land – current 2019.
