The 11 season of the X Files finally opened its first images

The fan can be someone ruthless when he is not satisfied. After almost 20 years of absence, the X Files was finally on the screens and the fan was not very tender with the series. Well, after that, she was a little tried also anything…

Not because, from the outset, the return ofX-Files had a big handicap : the season 10 lasted only 6 episodes, is too long to write the plot of a mini series but far too short to go into the details of an arc-fed and rich. And, as Chris Carter has not been able to choose, we found ourselves in a kind of in-between a little bastard who was trying to marry the intrigues “loners” to those relating to the Mythology of the series (which has nothing to do with the passage). As a result, a comeback not as flamboyant as hoped, even if it contained one or two moments of grace (oh the episode with the man-werewolf… Beautiful).

However, this is not going to remove from us our love for X Files and the Fox has understood since, after some hesitation, she ordered a season 11, allowing this time to achieve the number the more honourable of 10 episodes. When we know more about these episodes, only 2 will be devoted to the conspiracy of extra-terrestrial, it is said that this time, it may be the end.

It is in any case what we want to believe, and you know the slogan of’X Files (“I want to believe” for both of the bottom) even if the first exclusive images that has revealed Entertainment Weekly don’t really play in our favour, since, on the first we find Mulder and Scully (still David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson) to the hosto, with our friend redhead in a worrying state. We don’t know which episode is from the photo but there are little chances for it to come in the season-first since the final a little musty from the season 10 left Mulder in a delicate situation. The second picture is going to ruffle a few hairs in the refractory of the Conspiracy as we discover an alien surrounded by military. Everything suggests that we are in the past, like the years 40-50, and why not, on the side of Roswell, even if we do know nothing yet.

Chris Carter, for his part, wants to be reassuring, as he took the opportunity to clarify that the state of health of Scully does not arrive like a hair on the road and that “everything has been planned for a long time”, adding that the two FBI agents should be as close as ever during this season. But the most important element, this may be their son, William, the pivot underlying the previous season which should, according to the creator, “be put forward“.

In short, we can’t wait to find out more, even if we are especially eager to discover from what date the new season will start, which has still not been revealed by the chain.
