The creator of X Files meets the criticisms of fans regarding the season 10

We don’t know if you are aware but the X-series Files will resume service beginning January 2018 for an eleventh season, which could well be the last. And she will have to redouble its efforts to fully convince us.

When season 10 ofX Files was aired in early 2016, it was an old dream that became a reality. The return of agents Mulder and Scully was unhoped-for, after so many years of absence, and the result was not poorly divided. In the end, a season in a half-tent that was what was X-Files : episodes fantastic and others to the limit of the ridiculous, and which showed perfectly the limits of the concept. While the wait becomes unbearable, the creator and showrunner of the series, Chris Carter, is finally expressed on the issue of season 10 when an interview with TV Line, where he assures us that this last was only a warm-up lap :

“We started all over again after an absence of almost 12 years. He had to relearn some things. It was a bit like old friends who finally found themselves. We had to somehow shake up the rigidity that had set in… but I think we are now all again in a great shape.”
