A 6th post-generic scene was to be shown at the end of the movie The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 before being suppressed by James Gunn. What did she contain?
Would you have liked to see her? We announced it on melty, no less than 5 post-generic scenes were to be discovered at the end of the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 and since we are big fans Marvel Studios, we sat quietly in our chairs for a thousand Years, until someone tells us “The next session will start” … Haha ok we add, but hey it’s almost that! We obviously kissed the scenes unveiled, even if we admit it, we were a little disappointed not to get a first glimpse of Avengers Infinity War . Yes, the post-generic scenes were either the continuation of the adventures of the Guardians or were simply funny, without consequences on the future of the characters.
Well no ! “The scene showed Gamora and Mantis on board their new ship when we hear a cry of suffering coming straight from Gel the Ravager . ” The director unveiled the content to the American site USA Today and this is what we could have discovered: James Gunn then explained : “We realized that Gef was in the ship from the beginning, mortally wounded, but I thought it was a bit confusing . ” Gef is not a very important character and in truth, the fact that he is still alive would not have changed much except that his survival might imply that other Ravagers have survived and are also aboard the ship … It goes, we forgive him for having suppressed it!
