Netflix will offer us a series of post-apocalyptic next may.

Last December, Netflix struck a big blow with the arrival of its first German original : Dark. This series of science-fiction metaphysics has been adored by the public and a large majority of the criticism – even if we are very mixed.

A success on which Netflix will, without doubt, wet to push his original creation Danish : The Rain. After a teaser in January, a trailer has been unveiled by the platform this Thursday and reeks of a series of very mysterious.

The Rain takes place in a universe post-apocalyptic. Six years after the onset of a deadly virus has eliminated more than half of the population and transported by rain, a brother and a sister set off in search of shelter in a world that has become dangerous. They will then fall to another group of young survivors.

In his first pictures, the Danish language (which is a germanic language) recalls, of course, the atmosphere of Dark, just like the photo greyish. The backgrounds forest are, to them, reminiscent of the horror movie Netflix, The Ritual, which took place in the countries of the scandinavian neighbor Sweden.

At the intersection of the SF and of the drama of terror, the eight episodes of this survival post-apocalyptic will happen on 4 may next year on Netflix in France.
