You remember Xena, the warrior ? The legendary series and vaguely lesbos produced by Sam Raimi and that filled the Saturday afternoon of TF1 ? Yes ? Ca falls well, it does not remain you any more than that.

The reboot of Xena, it’s been a long time that there was no longer heard and, to be quite honest with you, we had a little forgotten. Must say that it happens so much stuff at this moment in the world of cinema, that you can’t hold it all in. Frankly, it is not human otherwise.

It does not mean that a new series was in the study, she was scheduled to be broadcast by NBC and, unlike its model, it was not to make her shy about relationships “friendly” between Xena and Gabrielle, her sidekick. So obviously, it interests us a lot. Except that one can sit on it since we have come to learn through The Live Feed that the project was purely and simply be cancelled by the chain.

A surprising decision that had to have an explanation, we therefore provided Jennifer Salke, the boss of NBC Entertainment :

“Nothing will happen for the time being. We looked at what we had and we realized that there was no reason for a reboot. You should never say never, especially vis-à-vis Xena, because it is a series of very loved, but its current incarnation is dead and buried.”

Remarks that are violent only in appearance since we can commend the honesty of the string for the shot. Feeling the wind turn, she took the opportunity to do nothing rather than coming up with a series of crappy to capitalize on the name. And that is rare enough to be stressed…
